Texto da Intro

APCV was founded on November 17, 2005, with the goal of preserving, promoting, and revitalizing the Vouga class of boats, a sailing tradition rooted in Portuguese nautical heritage. Currently, APCV has 29 registered boats and serves as a key pillar in promoting traditional sailing in Portugal.

One of the challenges presented to our agency was to carry out a complete rebranding, maintaining its values and tone while making it more modern and appealing across both physical and digital platforms. Another challenge was the creation of the brand’s own physical and digital assets.

APCV Rebranding: A wave of innovation and tradition

The rebranding of the APCV brings a fresh, dynamic identity that merges tradition with modernity. The design centers on legibility, highlighting a refined use of lettering intertwined with waves, symbolizing both the association’s historical roots and its future momentum. Drawing inspiration from Arte Nova, the logo is enriched with marine tones and intricate details, creating a harmonious blend of elegance and fluidity. The inclusion of multiple signatures within the design reflects the collective spirit and diverse contributions of its members, ensuring that every stroke and curve tells the story of the association’s legacy and vision.

UX

UX process for APCV’s website redesign – creating a user-centered experience

It began with research, including stakeholder interviews and audience analysis, to define user needs and project goals. We then ideated through brainstorming and wireframing, followed by the creation of high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes. Usability testing helped refine the design, which was then implemented in collaboration with developers. After launch, we monitored user feedback and made iterative improvements to ensure an intuitive, seamless experience that meets the needs of the association’s members.
